Buildings and other structures found on allotments

There are three main types of buildings or structures that you may find on an allotment:

Sheds - for storing tools and equipment, and for shelter.
Greenhouses - for growing seeds and sensitive plants
Fences - to keep the rabbits out
Cages and poly tunnels - to protect from birds and the cold

All of these can be subject to local rules, so never errect any structure on your allotment unless you have checked that it is allowed.
